Christina Aguilera and her five month old baby, Max Liron, will star in a new “Rock the Vote” campaign ad to premiere this summer.

In the commercial, the popstar sings “America the Beautiful” while looking into her adorable son’s eyes, who is wrapped up in an American flag, craddled in her arms.

The Grammy Award winner says that she is honored to have her baby boy particiapte with her in this campaign to get more youth’s involved in the voting polls in November.

“This election in particular is such an exciting and historical one, and I was so proud to have my son and I stand together for such a powerful moment and message in time.”

“Rock The Vote” celebrates it’s eighteenth anniversary this year.

The Long Island home that 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, and his ex girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins have been battling over has burned to the ground.

The fire that has been deemed “suspicious” broke out around 4:00 a.m. on Friday, May 30th and completely gutted the home.

Tompkins, her two children (one of which Jackson is the father), her sister, aunt, and cousin were all in the house when the fire started. Tompkins was awake caring for Curtis Jackson’s son, Marquise, when she heard something crash through the living room window.

Tompkins stated that, “around 4am someone threw a [molotov] cocktail in my house. I yelled ‘Let’s get out of here we have to go there’s a fire.”

They had to climbed out a second story window because the stairway was blocked by the flames. And all six people were treated for smoke inhalation.

A Dix Hills Fire Chief said that because of how fast the fire spread, “there is a strong- a strong, strong possibility that [the fire] is suspicious.”

Tompkins strongly believes that Jackson is responsible for the fire. Stating,

Who do you think did it? Curtis Jackson. He threatened me on Monday that he was going to have someone visit me. My kids are in the house. Who would try to kill your own child? He’s suppose to be all about being a gangster… that’s not a gangster, that’s a coward.

50 Cent had won the right to evict Tompkins in April, but Tompkins sued him for breach of contract in May and a Manhattan judge put a hold on the eviction pending a future hearing.

Paul Catsandonis, Tompkins’ lawyer, stated that the fight for the house had become “extremely, extremely, contentious.” Catsandonis also stated that there was an “extremely dangerous incident” at his Manhattan office last Monday during Jackson’s deposition.

50 Cent’s lawyer, Brett Kimmel said, “Any suggestion that Mr. Jackson had anything whatsoever to do with the fire at his home is outrageous and offensive.”

Arson investigators were sent to the scene but said that it is too early in the investigation to say whether or not the fire was set deliberately.

Tompkins said, “I’m going to fight him to the end. This gives me more of a drive. I’m more determined than ever.”

Xzibit has announced on his Myspace page that his preemie newborn son, Xavier has not made it. So sad.

His page says, “As you all know, I shared with you the announcment of my newborn son Xavier Kingston Joiner on May 15th and also informed you that he was born prematurly. Well this week was extremly difficult for him because his lungs were not strong enough to handle regular oxygen on his own. Xavier passed away this morning at 3:30am and I must tell you this, it is unatural for a parent to bury a child. I am telling you this because of the same reason I tell you when im having great times, life is too short to be fake.

Hold on to your kids if you have them, protect them and show them you love them everyday you wake up and see them, dont take a second you get to hug them, teach them, and care for them for granted. You can have all the material wealth in the universe, but it is NOTHING compared to having your family. I am thankful for all of my blessings and I’m not one to question God’s perfect plan, so I leave you with great love and thanks for the love that was sent earlier on my pervious blog to my son. Of course I need to take some time and handle my loss, STAY FOCUSED PEOPLE. Its not promised to any of us.”

It seems as if the movies weren’t the only things getting bad reviews at Cannes.
Sharon Stone made some uh…interesting…remarks Thursday to Hong Kong’s Cable Entertainment News at an event during the Cannes Film Festival.

China is now considering a boycott of the actress’ films (as of right now- two this year and two next year) of her comment last week that the recent devastating earthquake. The quake, which right now has resulted in at least 65,000 deaths, Stone claims is just karma in response to the government’s controversial policy against Tibet.

Her remarks triggered anger across the Chinese-language media and were called “inappropriate” by the founder of one of China’s biggest urban cinema chains, who said his company would not show the Hollywood star’s films.

Stone, a prominent supporter of the Dalai Lama and Tibetan rights, told one reporter, “I’m not happy about the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I don’t think anyone should be unkind to anyone else.”

“And then this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and then I thought, is that karma? When you’re not nice that the bad things happen to you?”

Did she forget that China has a potential audience population of ONE BILLION?!

Yikes.

Stone better be careful or else they will build a ‘great wall’ against her.

If you aren’t a guy, then this probably won’t mean as much to you.

Cindy Margolis, or better known as the world’s ‘most downloaded’ person (well, back in 1999) and her husband of nine years, Los Angeles nightclub owner Guy Starkman, have split up.

To give you an idea about how popular Margolis is, at the age of 34, the peak of her popularity, she was downloaded 70,000 times in a span of 24 hours.

Even though she emerged as a star in the early days of the Internet, she is still popular among fans and really just to men in general.

“The end of any marriage is very sad.  However, I feel blessed that Guy and I remain very close, we are truly the best of friends and the most devoted parents,” Margolis told Us Weekly Tuesday.

That sounds a bit too good to be true.  Maybe the two are hoping to remain amicable for the sake of their three children, 5-year-old Nicholas and 2-year-old twins Sabrina and Sierra.

But while it is always sad news for any family when the parents call it quits, this new found “freedom”…if you will… certainly helps the model’s upcoming Playboy cover.  It’s headline reads, “Cindy Margolis Is Sexy and Single!”

Now that makes sense.

And that will definitely help the mag sell more copies, I’m sure.

If seeing Adam Sandler’s movie poster everywhere around LA isn’t enough for you, now there’s more controversy surrounding the flick.

The author of a 2003 webzine, 2005 comic book and 2007 novel all titled The Hair-Raising Adventures of Jayms Blonde has launched a legal drop down drag out against Sandler, seeking to halt the June 6 release of You Don’t Mess With the Zohan, E! News reported today.

The author is named Robert W. Cabell, and sad to say, I don’t think this guy can stop the comedic powerhouse of Adam Sandler and Happy Madison, Inc.

Ellis J. Pailet, a Louisiana attorney who represents the author Robert W. Cabell, sent a cease and desist letter earlier this month to Sandler’s people, accusing them of ripping off his client’s ideas and threatening with a full-blown lawsuit.

Sandler’s publicist, Cindi Guagenti, declined to discuss the claims or potential litigation.

“We don’t comment on lawsuits, especially ones without merit,” she said.

For his part, Pailet notes in the May 8 letter several supposed similarities between Cabell’s gay crusader action hero, who fights bad guys with his “trademarked Uzi blow-dryer, bulletproof mousse and hair-curler hand-grenades,” and Sandler’s Israeli Mossad agent, who fakes his death to leave the spy business to cut hair in New York.

“Your transformation of our client’s gay character into your heterosexual character is not a fair use,” the letter reads.  “Like the Blonde logo, the Zohan logo used to promote your movie depicts your character pointing a blow-dryer as if it were a weapon.”

Really??  I think this guy just wants the spotlight on him, and he knows that picking a public feud right before a movie’s release is a good publicity stunt.  One may argue not as good as a ’surprise’ wedding in the Bahamas, but a close second.

Pailet is theorizing that Sandler and costar Rob Schneider may have swiped the character because they were among “Cabell’s first 100 MySpace friends in 2005 when the Blonde MySpace.com website was created.”

All this legal stuff is making it all sound very serious, but really I don’t think this is gonna go anywhere.

James Gandolfini, better known as Tony Soprano, is auctioning off 24 outfits worn in character on HBO’s hit series, The Sopranos.

All of the proceeds will benef the Wounded Warrior Project, which assists severely wounded soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Among the gangster-esque items set to be bid on at the Christie’s auction are the button-down blue shirt the James donned in the opening credits, the tan bathrobe with lavender trim and “S” insignia Tony wore to fetch his morning paper and feed his ducks in the pilot episode, and the pièce de résistance, the blood-spattered black and beige polo shirt, white tank top and black pants Tony wore while being shot by Uncle Junior.

The actor’s contract allowed him to keep the clothes after the show ended its six-season run last year.  All of the clothing items have been personally donated and authenticated by Gandolfini.

The pop culture auction will take place on June 25th, with estimates for the costumes starting at $500. Gandolfini’s wardrobe, which includes many outfits with the original production tags attached, is expected to bring up to $36,500.

Another 37 costumes worn by other lead Sopranos characters, including Paulie Walnuts, Christopher Moltisanti and A.J. Soprano, also are being sold, though the proceeds from those sales will not benefit the Jacksonville, Florida-based veterans’ organization.
