The private wedding of Sarah Jakes and Robert Henson (a Texas Christian University football player) is tomorrow at the Potter’s House, and among the celebrities expected are Dr. Phil of TV counseling fame, Tyler Perry, Deion Sanders and Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert. Dallas, TX - May 28, 2008 - Bishop T. D. and Serita Jakes are pleased to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Sarah Dionne Jakes to Robert Leandro Henson. Mr. Henson, the son of Samantha Henson of Longview, Texas, and Ms. Jakes plan to wed on Saturday, June 21, 2008, at The Potter’s House of Dallas. The private ceremony will be officiated by Bishop Noel Jones of City of Refuge Church, Los Angeles, California. The couple met on the campus of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, where he is a senior majoring in criminal justice, and she is now a junior attending the University of Phoenix studying journalism. After honeymooning, the couple will make their home in Fort Worth and continue to pursue their degrees.
