For now the videos only include other people dancing to her new hit “Womanizer,” but there are also a few quick videos of Britney scattered on the blog, like one in which she waves to a bus of tourists outside her house. The photos are promotional and magazine photos, many of which you may have seen before.

Now that Britney has revamped her public image and career it only makes sense that she should expand her new image onto the web. Remember two years ago when she replaced her website with a big image of a tiger and a strange statement about how she was “mesmirized” by them? She doesn’t want you to remember that, or all the crotch flashing she was doing in late 2006, or that head shaving incident in February, 2007. All that is in the past and it’s been replaced by new, better designed, saner Britney 2.0. Perfectly packaged for your consumption.

Britney is on trial for a misdemeanor, for driving without a license in California
There’s one aspect of her troubled past that Britney might not be able to escape so easily. It seems minor compared to everything else that was going on for her at the time, but she is currently being tried for a misdemeanor, for driving without a license in California. The jury trial is underway in Van Nuys, but Britney is not required to be there given the charges.

She does have a valid Louisiana driver’s license, just not one for California, where it seems like she’s lived for the past few years. Her father was called to testify and it’s thought that he will claim that she’s a resident of Louisiana despite all the evidence to the contrary. Britney’s lawyer said in his opening statement that “She regards Louisiana as her [permanent residence]. She’s building a new house there, where she hopes to return as soon as her custody situation is straightened out.” Britney also pays income taxes in Louisiana.

If she plans to move back to Louisiana, how is she going to do it and see her boys? It doesn’t seem like she’s going to get full custody again, and she’ll have to travel back to California just to visit with them. About half of the jury probably sees through that excuse - all you have to do is read a celebrity glossy once in a while to know that she’s not going to move to Louisiana if she wants to see her children.

Do you think Britney will mention this trial on her new blog? It’s doubtful.

The Jonas Brothers are taking over the world. At least, that’s how it seems to those of us who are tying to ignore them. It’s getting harder to avoid them, though: they currently have the #1 CD on the Billboard charts, and their TV movie “Camp Rock” is rapidly approaching mania of “High School Musical” status. I don’t really get it; they seem like little more than another Hanson to me. But they’ve garnered enough popularity to land their own show on the Disney Channel.

After the success of their TV movie Camp Rock, the Jonas Brothers are now prepping for their own Disney Channel original series.

“It’s going to be about us as a band but dealing with normal things like trying to take out the trash and not get hounded by fans,” Joe Jonas tells ELLEgirl magazine about the as-yet untitled series. “It’s going to be a funny show, and it’s going to be a great cast.”

The show – originally about the boy band living a double life as spies – has recently undergone a conceptual change. The trio, who just released their third studio album, A Little Bit Longer, told Ryan Seacrest on his KISS-FM radio show that the series will now be more like HBO’s Flight of the Conchords.

Last week, the London Times reported that Madonna had consulted noted divorce British attorney Fiona Shackleton, who had represented Paul McCartney and Prince Charles in their bitter divorces from, respectively, Heather Mills and Princess Diana.

Madonna’s spokesperson, Liz Rosenberg, said, “Madonna has rarely worn a wedding band over these last six years, so there’s no secret message about that.”

On Friday night, Madonna’s group came in three waves, with Leon and Lourdes arriving first, quickly followed by an SUV carrying her son (with Ritchie) Rocco, 7, and adopted son David, 2, each child with a nanny.

Fifteen minutes later, around 8:45, Madonna arrived, wearing a black skirt and a black tank top over a white T-shirt. The service had just about ended, with a dinner about to begin. Madonna stayed some 20 minutes before leaving with Rocco and David for her home on Central Park West, according to a source.

On Saturday, Madonna and her three children returned to the center for services. Her presence didn’t create any kind of stir, as congregants gave her hardly any notice.

A bar mitzvah took place, and at its conclusion Rocco joined all the congregants in throwing Sunkist fruit gem candies at the bar mitzvah boy.

At the service’s conclusion, Lourdes wrapped her arms around her mother’s neck and gave her a big, long hug.

In Manhattan to rehearse for her upcoming world Sticky & Sweet tour, which kicks off Aug. 23 in Wales, Madonna has stuck to a rigid schedule.

First, according to a source, she works out at home. Then, at 2:15 each afternoon, Madonna leaves for a studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where she and members of the tour practice numbers.

Meanwhile, the children and several nannies, often also accompanied by Leon, spend time playing outside or in Central Park, the source says.

Benji Madden has already recorded a song about Paris Hilton, and now the Good Charlotte guitarist is helping her with her own music.

Hilton, 27, told E! News that she and Madden, 29, are hard at work on the theme song to her upcoming MTV reality show My New BFF.
“Benji and I have been working hard on it,” she said. “He’s helping me write the lyrics for the song and then I’ll sing it, too.”

The couple, who’ve been dating for four months, are laying down the track at a studio located, conveniently enough, in her Beverly Hills mansion.

Premiering later this year, My New BFF will follow the former Surreal Life star as she chooses a new shopping buddy from 20 contestants.

Hilton also plans to start working on the follow-up to her 2006 debut CD Paris. “I’ll have another album come out, for sure,” she told E! News. “I just don’t know when yet. I only have the summer off, then I’ll be taping another season of BFF. But an album is something I’ll do.”

The movie’s closing credits will also acknowledge special-effects technician Conway Wickliffe, who was killed last September in a stunt-car accident..

The send-off reads, “In memory of our friends Heath Ledger & Conway Wickliffe.”

Ledger, who died in January, plays the villainous Joker in the film, which opens July 18. It also stars Christian Bale as the Caped Crusader, as well as Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

The last time Tim McGraw toured, he did so with his wife, Faith Hill, as part of a superstar country package.

That show, which came to HSBC Arena in 2007, as part of the “Soul2Soul” tour, was a high-tech, Vegas-style affair. On his current tour, McGraw has abandoned Faith, so to speak, and headed out on his own.

The result? A show that rocked harder, for whatever reason.

Maybe it’s because McGraw and his 10-piece band — known to all as the Dancehall Doctors — felt free to indulge in testosterone. That is, after all, what McGraw is all about.

Kicking off the Darien Lake concert season, McGraw brought it — and hard — to what looked like a capacity crowd, or close to it. Right off the bat, McGraw established the rules of engagement — this would be a rock show, a country gig in name only.

That should’ve surprised no one who has been following McGraw for more than a few weeks. He always HAS been more Journey than Hank Williams, and even if he flashed Hank’s face — and those of Chuck Berry, Martin Luther King Jr. and William Faulkner — during the brand-new “Southern Voice,” this was never really going to be a country show.

With Faith safe at home, McGraw chose to play rock, occasionally reveling in the three-guitar, harmonized glory of Molly Hatchet and the Outlaws, much to the rowdy crowd’s delight.

I can hear y’all writing in already, to tell me this gig was what country’s actually all about. No one’s trying to tell you different. But if you think back on it, and you ponder your own role in it all, you’ll probably agree — this was rock, not country, southern accents notwithstanding.

McGraw and his band, a killer ensemble capable of doing far more than its leader asked of it, did challenge the crowd a bit with the inclusion of some five or so brand-new songs, from the record the singer is preparing for a fall release.

These were all pure southern rock, and the best of them, “Southern Voice,” sounded not a bit unlike the Marshall Tucker Band’s “Can’t You See.”

You realize, of course, that this is not an insult. The only way to send a stark criticism McGraw and his band’s way is to point out that no one ever improvised. Sure, everybody got their solo spot, but within it, they played the same part they played, and will play, every night on this tour. That’s lame. And I’m sure the musicians in the band would agree — why not take it outside for once?

McGraw — who is not a remarkable singer, but uses his voice to good effect, and always sings in tune — gave the people what they wanted, when he wasn’t indulging in new material.

Of course, we got “Cowboy in Me,” a weak apologist’s argument for being a lame husband if I ever heard one, and “Amarillo Sky.”

“Laughed Until We Cried” and “Hicktown” treaded the high wire between straight pop and modern country, while a cover of David Allan Coe’s “The Ride” afforded the seemingly completely necessary opportunity for every single singer operating under the country banner to make it clear that they praise U. S. troops engaged in current foreign-policy initiatives.

Not to be a jerk, but — does anyone, country music fan or not, fail to support American troops engaged overseas? C’mon, guys. Stop using this as some sort of “code of honor” between country music stars. If you’re so into it, sign up to fight.

McGraw never overdid it in this area, however. He was far more interested in singing his songs for the adoring throngs. And that he did, quite well.

Tim McGraw reminded us of how tough country singers can be at his concert Tuesday in Auburn, Washington when he almost got into a fight at his own concert.

Evidently McGraw noticed a man charging at a woman when he ran to the lady’s rescue. Like a freakin’ night in shining leather…

Tim rescued the lady and even cocked his fist back until security came forward to remove the slugging redneck.

The band’s performance of “Indian Outlaw” never stopped. And as if on cue, McGraw steps to the mic and picks up with the line “I ain’t lookin’ for trouble … .”

I guess it just finds him, huh?

I too stopped reading about three sentences in. But being that I had to force myself to read it eventually, here is the basic outline of his rant. He thinks people are sitting around plotting his downfall, just because he has more costumes than Liza Minnelli and Cher put together…it doesn’t make him “gay,” the concert organizers have “squid brains” and he only performs “Stronger” in the dark because the pretty lights are the only thing that makes it worth sitting through.

His painfully long tirade of ranting was basically an apologyfor not giving fans the entire fancy light show and not for making them stand around for hours with other irate fans.

His level of douche-baggery never ceases to amaze me.

How is it possible that Joss Stone may be having money problems, while crackhead Amy Winehouse is somehow still worth millions? It’s hard to believe, but the Daily Mirror is reporting that Stone’s company is in debt after paying out 2.2 Million pounds to the singer so she could purchase a home.

Joss Stone may have to live on a diet of free chocolate bars if her business accounts keep dwindling.

The singer and Cadbury Flake girl paid herself a whopping £2.2million salary last year.

Living in Hollywood is proving expensive, leaving her company Joss Ltd in the red to the tune of £412,295 last year.

The Devon diva hasn’t had a Top 10 hit since 2004 so her record company will be putting pressure on her to produce a new album.

A source said: “Joss bought a house last year, so a large chunk of money went on that. But she needs to rein [sic] in her spending before she gets in trouble.”

Another company, Joss ROW Touring, ended the year £210,050 in the red and Joss Publishing Ltd lost £62,588.

Expect more Flake ads or the cookie will really crumble..

To clear something up: while Stone may not have had a Top 10 single since 2004, her last album, “Introducing Joss Stone,” debuted at number 2 on the UK Billboard charts and sold 118,000 copies in its first week, becoming the highest debut for a British solo female artist on the U.S. charts, surpassing the record previously held by Amy Winehouse with “Back to Black.” So it’s not like Joss is about to be living in a cardboard box or something. And when you put it into context, 2.2 Million really isn’t that extravagant- Amy Winehouse probably goes through that much per month just to maintain her beehive. Hopefully, this is just another exaggerated story. But if not- Joss- put down the joint and start writing some new material, honey!
