Brazilian model/professional hottie Adriana Lima and NBA star Marko Jaric got engaged on Thursday night, according to Marko’s publicist.

Jaric popped the question on Lima’s birthday. How sweet!

“He asked and she said yes. They are both incredibly happy and couldn’t be more in love,” says publicist James Weir.

Serbian NBA player Marko Jarić has finally proposed to girlfriend Adriana Lima after just nine months of dating.

Dude, nine months?!  I won’t even move in with someone unless we’ve been dating more than three years!  Then again, when you’re girlfriend is a hot supermodel who refuses to put out until marriage I guess marriage doesn’t so too bad.

Marko’s publicist confirmed the engagement saying, “He asked and she said yes. They are both incredibly happy and couldn’t be more in love.”

The 29-year old Marko Jaric plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves, but they have only been dating for about nine months. So maybe it will turn out that they don’t really know each other all that well – a couple years will roll by and soon Adriana Lima and Marko Jaric will realize that they rushed things and maybe they don’t have much in common other than being rich and attractive — and then their not-yet-happened marriage will dissolve and you will have your chance.
