Lindsay Lohan and celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson continued to fuel rumors of a lesbian romance as they held hands and kissed on Thursday during a party on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ yacht in Cannes.

But the actress’ rep, Leslie Sloane, told CelebTV.com on Friday, “They are close friends.”

Lohan, 21, and Ronson, 30, partied in Cannes at the V.I.P. nightclub Thursday night, then cuddled at Diddy’s yacht party, according to photos of the pair.

Lohan held hands with Ronson as they left the nightclub. Later, the two reportedly shared a passionate kiss on the top deck of Diddy’s party yacht. Ronson “did not seem to care who was watching their steamy kiss,” according to the U.K.’s Daily Mail.

Lohan has been spotted out with Ronson in clubs and restaurants in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.

Last month, Lohan warned Ashley Olsen to “get away” from Ronson, calling her her “girlfriend,” according to the New York Post’s Page Six gossip column.

“Ashley Olsen said hello to Sam at [the Beatrice Inn in New York City], and Lindsay screamed at her, ‘Get your 15-year-old ‘Full House’ a— away from my girlfriend,’” said a Page Six spy.

According to Page Six, Lohan has created a Facebook profile under the name “Lindsay Ronson.”

Lindsay’s mother Dina Lohan recently called Ronson “a sweetheart.”

“She’s great — and she’s the best spinner around,” she told People.

We already suspected that Angelina Jolie was expecting twins, but were just as shocked as Angie when Jack Black accidentally confirmed it during a joint interview while promoting “Kung Fu Panda” at Cannes.

When Jack was asked about his slip-up on the “Today” show this past Wednesday, the comedian jokingly blamed it on his wife, Tanya Haden, who recently gave birth to their second son, Jack Jr. “She said, like it was common knowledge, ‘Yeah, Angelina’s having twins.’ Because my wife is a triplet and she was interested in that.” Although some reports noted that Angelina was upset, Jack claims otherwise. “She was actually relieved. She wanted to spill the beans, but didn’t know how to.”

Ready or not, Stuart Gordon’s controversial “Stuck” film finally arrives on screens in limited release Friday (5/30) after a year of playing festivals from Cannes to Toronto to Philadelphia. Sounds as if it’s taken about that long for star Mena Suvari to get over making the black comedy, based on the awful, bizarre, real-life case of a woman who hit a homeless man with her car, drove home and left him to slowly die stuck in her windshield.

Suvari tells us that essaying the role was an “emotional roller coaster…I have to literally lose my mind by the end of the movie. My inspiration was Kathy Bates from ‘Misery.’”

She describes the production, with Stephen Rea as the victim and Russell Hornsby as her boyfriend, as “intense filmmaking, a short schedule and a small budget with sometimes one or two takes.  By the end of the day I was really exhausted and ready to get back to reality a little bit…just be a nice person.” While playing the woman afflicted with what one critic describes as “sociopathic selfishness,” Mena says with a laugh, “I tried to do something good every night.”

Suvari says it was a “huge shock” to her to discover “Stuck” was based on a true story. “When I first read the script I didn’t know that and my jaw hit the floor. I couldn’t believe someone would be involved in something like that. I’d worked with Stuart Gordon before on

‘Edmond’ and was excited this was his next project,” she adds of the cult favorite filmmaker of “Re-Animator” and “From Beyond” fame.  “I told my agent ‘I have to do this.’  I really pushed for it.” She adds, “I’ve always been fascinated with criminal psychology and what makes people do the things they do.  I was even studying psychology and criminal forensics so it was exciting for me to finally come across a script where I could use that.”

THE LAUGH INN: Comedienne Rita Rudner declares her new PBS special, “Rita Rudner: Live from Las Vegas” is not – repeat – not geared toward that highly sought after youth demographic. “We’re being comedically ignored after age 39,” quips Rudner. “And if there was ever a time we needed to laugh it was after 39. That’s exactly why I’m doing the special for PBS.”

Rudner — who’s booked to perform at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand through 2010 — taped her 2000th Vegas show for the PBS special debuting May 31 and airing throughout June (check local listings). “I talk about my usual… life, marriage, relationships, women and men…the same topics I cover in my book,” says the comic, whose latest tome, “I Still Have It…I Just Can’t Remember Where I Put It (Confessions of a Fiftysomething)” hits book stores this month. “I pick on women a lot more than I pick on men. Even though we’re perfect we do silly things. I don’t know why we’re buying pillows we can’t lay our heads on, buying shoes we can’t walk in, buying ashtrays when no one can smoke. And why has women’s underwear become so uncomfortable? We went from wearing pillow cases to sling shots.”

GOOD SPORTS: Hosea Chanchez, who stars on the CW’s sports comedy/drama “The Game,” which was recently renewed for a third season, tells us he’s been surprised at the amount of professional athletes who watch the show.  ”We’ve actually been told by professional athletes — and a lot of people in that industry who are trying their hardest to get on our show — that we’re one of the few who got in right,” claims Chanchez about the content of the show, which follows the fictional lives of several professional football players and their wives.  ”It’s a complete honor to do something and do it correctly.”  While Chanchez is admittedly not a football fan, he says there is one athlete he would like to see be a guest star on the show.  ”I would love to see Michael Jordan come on the show.” Now, wait a second!  ”I know he’s not a football player,” adds Chanchez with a laugh, “but he is the man.”

BRANCHING OUT: Looks like the irrepressible 15-year-old “Suite Life of Zack & Cody” twin stars Cole and Dylan Sprouse are poised to make the leap to the big screen.  Dylan says, “We have a couple of films coming up. One that might be a feature release. It’s called ‘The Kings of Appletown’ and it’s a Bobby Moresco production,” he says of the Oscar-winning writer-director-producer. “And we’re in the works for another movie, the ‘Untitled Sprouse Brothers Project.’”

It sure didn’t take Kate Hudson long to get over ex-boyfriend Owen Wilson. The same day that Kate and Owen’s split went public Kate was seen attending a Kid Rock concert followed by dinner at New York City’s Wildwood BBQ with Lance Armstrong. The next Saturday the duo was spotted having dinner at Chuy’s Hula Hut in Austin, Texas.

Kate and Lance have now taken their relationship to the next level as they danced and kissed the night away at Dolce & Gabbana’s annual party Friday night, May 23, in Cannes. A source told People magazine that, “They were beaming at each other,” and that they were, “So cute.”

Hollywood actresses sure move on fast. Good thing there are enough hunks in Hollywood to go around.

Lindsay Lohan tried to revive her career as an attention hungry whore in Cannes over the weekend by teasing us with her fire crotch, sporting an engagement ring at the Dolce & Gabbana party, and making sure the paparazzi captured her parading around in a bikini.

It’s like September 2006 all over again!

Except now no one cares anymore. Upskirt shots are about as outdated as single-digit pregnancies. If Lindsay really wants the world talking about her she’s going to have to raise the bar.

I say it’s time for a new celebrity sex tape to hit the Net. This time with some hot scissoring action between Linds and Sam. Now that’d be a Lindsay Lohan movie actually worth watching!

OK! Magazine reports  Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong didn’t bother hiding their affection for one another while at Dolce & Gabbana’s party at Baoli restaurant in Cannes Friday.

After hitting the dance floor, a source reportedly found Kate cleaning a white men’s shirt in the bathroom singe. “I asked her what she was doing,” recalls the source. “Kate blushed and laughed — And then Lance walked out of a stall topless!”

Ah, yes.  Because nothing says romance like having a quickie in a public bathroom stall before wiping up the jizz from your man’s shirt. Let’s hope she wore some underwear… or he, at least, a condom.  Cum drizzling down your leg is not a good look!

Lindsay Lohan has been snapped in an amorous embrace with Samantha Ronson, further fuelling rumours that the two are lesbian lovers.

The gal pals were partying on P Diddy’s yacht in Cannes when they lost all their inhibitions and began acting like a couple, with firecrotch openly nuzzling the DJ’s neck.

An eyewitness told The Sun: “They looked like proper lovebirds. And they didn’t care who saw them draped over each other.

“If they are together then it’s a nice vision of their love.”

It’s a good job Ashley Olsen wasn’t there.

Eva Herzigova wore a corset and see through lace gown for her attendance at the premiere of Che at Cannes. Eva, 35, would be returning to the entertainment world since her daughter has turned 11 months old. She would do only a few selective campaigns since she could afford to be choosy. She had a nice, retirement nest egg in the bank. Eva met her Italian boyfriend, Gregorio Marsiaj, on a trip in 2001 and they have been together ever since.

The amfAR soiree’ in Cannes was actually a fundraiser. Madonna and Sharon Stone were among the older set of celebrities who graced the event. Versace did the interior decor of the party venue. The grand ballroom housed a total of 750 VIPs and celebrities. Madonna was wearing a shiny red dress. This was one of her very rare occasions when she wore something so high necked. Her dress had a silk bow tie/scarf which concealed any wrinkles at the neck.
