Carrie Underwood knows the way to get over a bad breakup – work hard and become more successful than your former beau. The 25-year-old star has dated a series of Hollywood hunks including Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford and American football star Tony Romo.

And although Underwood insists she’s not akin to the vengeful character in her hit song Before He Cheats, she does relish in the revenge her superstardom has already provided her against former flames.

She says: “Cheating is a deal breaker. If you cheat, you’re gone. Getting revenge on a guy is just not worth it to me. I mean, it definitely sucks at the time, but obviously you’re not supposed to be with that person.

“The best revenge I can think of is becoming famous.”

PETA ripped on Jessica Simpson yesterday for wearing a shirt that read: “Real girls eat meat.” They called her an idiot. PETA writes:

For a gal who’s best known for her less-than-stellar brains (Chicken of the Sea, anyone?) and her ability to proportionately fill out daisy dukes, I’m gonna go on record saying that if anyone had to wear a ridiculous shirt like this, I’m glad it was Jessica—as people are more likely to follow the opposite of her lead … ya know, since she’s so well respected and all (yes, that was difficult to type without tossing in a hefty LOL). Maybe the meat-eaters of the world will be embarrassed to be categorized in the same field as Jessica Simpson.

OK! Magazine says the shirt is a dig at Carrie Underwood, Tony Romo’s ex, who is a devout vegan.

“Jess is sick of hearing about how Tony still has feelings for Carrie,” says the insider. “She’s obviously trying to poke fun at her rival and let her know who really has Tony’s heart.”

PETA is missing the sexual innuendo, but that’s fine because PETA is gay. According to them, these are the top five reasons “stupid girls brag about eating meat.”

1. Meat increases the risk of breast cancer.
2. Real girls don’t support animal abuse.
3. The meat industry is destroying the Earth.
4. Meat will make you fat.
5. Eating meat steals food from starving kids.

Whatever. If you want to be vegan, that’s fine with me, but don’t tell me how bad meat is because it’s falling on deaf ears. Meat is awesome. I eat meat all the time. Bacon for breakfast, genetically enhanced chicken for lunch, hormone injected steak for dinner and then end the day with a blended meat shake. Mmm. Afterwards, I like to lie down on the floor and prepare for the ensuing heart attack. Life is good.

Singer Carrie Underwood’s Some Hearts has sold more copies than any other debut album in American Idol history (over 6 million to be exact). In addition to being a Grammy award winner, Carrie has also won PETA’s annual title of World’s Sexiest Female Vegetarian:

Results were released Tuesday by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Underwood, 24, a Grammy-winning country singer, won the title in 2005. Eubanks, 49, leader of NBC’s “Tonight Show” band, is a newcomer to the winner’s circle.”

As most of you already know, the County Music Awards were on TV last night.  Which means there was a lot of singing I had no desire to listen to.  It wasn’t a complete loss though, Carrie Underwood managed to look pretty darn good — and oh yeah, she won a couple things too!  Yeehaw!

Last night at the American Music Awards, American Idols took home the lion’s share of trophies, and both Chris Daughtry and Carrie Underwood were ”overwhelmed” at their respective levels of success - they each were part of an individual awards parade! However, I was let down by Carrie’s award acceptance speeches - she just didn’t seem all that excited to me. Each of the three times she won, Carrie would walk up and be handed the award, then she would flash a smile, thank a couple of people, and walk off - very anticlimactic.

Chris Daughtry, the lead singer for the band Daughtry, said backstage:

“The show didn’t make me who I am,” he said. “It just gave me a chance to show everybody else who I am.”

Did Jessica Simpson try to start a food fight with Tony Romo’s ex Carrie Underwood?

The singer, 27, wore a “Real Girls Eat Meat” T-shirt (which she got for free from steakhouse Primehouse New York) during a weekend outing with Romo, who dated Underwood in 2007.

Underwood was named PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian in 2005.

PETA quickly jumped to Underwood’s defense.

“Jessica Simpson’s meaty wardrobe malfunction makes us thankful that no one is looking to her for food advice. Chicken-of-the-Sea, anyone?” a PETA rep tells Joynews. “The woman who thought that Buffalo ‘Wings’ came from buffalos would benefit from some good veggie brain food.”

Adds the rep: “We’re rushing Jessica one of our Vegetarian Starter Kits.”

Carrie Underwood may have won “American Idol” and a Grammy — but she hasn’t let it go to her head.

“I don’t consider myself sexy … I’m kind of a nervous person in general,” Underwood, 25, admits in the July issue of Cosmopolitan.

“I’m socially awkward,” she adds. “I’m not tall and sensuous. I usually wear sweats everywhere I go. Oh, and I burp a lot.”

Underwood, an Us Weight Winner, has dated her share of good-looking guys, including “Gossip Girl’s” Chace Crawford and current Jessica Simpson beau Tony Romo.

As for their splits?

While she doesn’t name names, she says, “Cheating is a deal breaker - If you cheat, you’re gone.” Underwood, who told “Extra” her April break up with Crawford was over text, doesn’t believe in plotting against her exes.

Carrie Underwood made her guest appearance in the season finale of the American Idol, 2008. She has been on American Idol so many times that she has almost become a regular fixture of A.I. Carrie has become very successful since A.I. brough her fame and a recording contract. Carrie looked pretty in her white dress and scarf. Carrie Underwood looked and sounded great at the 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards over the weekend and it’s not a fluke! We’ve seen Carrie looking great before — well, OK, all the time– and she did manage to take home two CMA awards at the recent award show.

And although Carrie Underwood may be the most popular “American Idol” ever according to a recent poll, she’s got some young and blonde competition on the way — and she answers to the name of Taylor Swift. Taylor took home the award for Best New Female Vocalist.

Karolina Kurkova seems to be quite the surprise! Who would have guessed that this Czech-born supermodel enjoyed country music? Not I, but country music really is not what it used to be. Regardless of what I think, this Victoria’s Secret model attended the 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards and enjoyed performances by Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift.
