Jessica Simpson Denies Her Father Fit Her for Training Bra

Posted on 21 June 2008 by JoyCeleb

Jessica Simpson opened up about her dad during a radio interview in Colton, CA at K-Frog 95.1 on Tuesday.

“There have been stories that are ridiculous,” Simpson who is promoting her new country album said. “Like my father really fit me for a training bra. Like, who believes that kind of thing!?”

The singer was on the show to promote her new country album. (Watch the interview above.)

“I really just wanted to showcase the talent that God has given me and I don’t believe that in pop music I ever had the chance to stand on two feet and stand firm,” Simpson said.

And though “Come on Over” is receiving positive feedback, Simpson revealed, “My greatest fear is failure… failing or disappointing my fans from the pop world.”

As for her Dallas Cowboys football player beau Tony Romo, when asked about whether or not she will be wearing a blue jersey to his games (read about the Jessica Simpson jinx here) the singer laughed, “No more pink ones!”

Simpson also touched on the emotional repercussions of her divorce from Nick Lachey.

“With Newlyweds people really got in on my life and got to see my personality on a weekly basis,” she said. “Then after going through the divorce and what not it made me shut down for a while, but now I”m back and really confident.”

Cameron’s Letter to Fans

Posted on 30 April 2008 by JoyCeleb

Cameron Diaz skipped a press junket for her new film, “What Happens in Vegas,” Saturday, and instead sent a handwritten letter. Ashton Kutcher delivered the note from Cam, whose father died less than two weeks ago from pneumonia.”First of all, I want to thank all of you for your support over the years,” Diaz wrote. “So many films, so many weekends discussing films. I was really looking forward to this weekend getting to talk to my friends about a film that I am so proud of.

“Due to the loss of my father, I have chosen to be with my family this weekend. But it was important for me to convey to all of you how much I love this film. We really did have the best time, and the most fun and laughs making it. I know that the stories Ashton, Rob [Corddry] and [Director] Tom [Vaughan] share with you will illustrate that point. I was fortunate to work with a group of truly gifted individuals that share the common denominator of a generous heart and wickedly sick sense of humor.”

The letter continues, “This weekend I am screening “What Happens in Vegas” for my family. It was a unanimous decision that we all needed to share a good laugh. After all, that’s why we make films like these. So people can leave behind their worries for a couple of hours. Have a good laugh.

I picture all of your smiles and it makes me happy.

Thank you for your continued support. It is much appreciated.”
