Sarah Larson: I showed those bikini wrestling pics to Clooney before they hit ‘net

Posted on 12 July 2008 by JoyCeleb

I got the chance to read Sarah Larson’s full interview with Hello! Magazine and it has a couple of gems that I haven’t read elsewhere. Other outlets focused on Larson’s claims that she’s still friends with Clooney, that she will miss his “extraordinary dance moves,” and that she in talks for a lucrative modeling contract. There are some more things she said that are interesting enough on the surface. She strikes me as bland person despite what she’s accomplished in life - winning Fear Factor, earning plenty of money as a cocktail waitress, and scoring a date to the Oscars with Clooney.

On the photos of her bikini wrestling in Vegas: I was working

“I wasn’t shocked when those pictures taken of me in Vegas surfaced,” says Sarah. “I knew once I started dating George they’d come out, so I showed them all to him before they were published as they were posted on various websites. Most of them are of me working. All the girls I worked with were my friends so we got paid to have a great time together. I think it’s funny that they are made out to be scandalous. My thoughts on them… ’so what?’”

[From Hello! Magazine, print edition, July 14, 2008]

There aren’t many people who get paid to get on all fours in swimwear, to wrestle with women, or to have men lick their feet. The jobs that usually involve those type of paid activities are legal in the state of Nevada, but are technically not allowed in the city of Las Vegas. I’m not saying that was involved in her job, but you can see how people would get confused as to what it is she did exactly.

On how she got into cocktail waitressing although she has an undergraduate degree in microbiology

“I worked there [at a homeopathic medicines company in Vegas] for about a year but it wasn’t paying my bills,” she says. “So I started modeling and that led to cocktailing.” It was, she admits, a big leap from the world of alternative medicine to the service industry. “Sometimes I feel I had two different lives. I like the fact that I have this obscure degree that people don’t see me as having and I can pull facts out of the air and shock people every now and then.”

Good for Larson for going to college and I would not have expected that from her. She didn’t give an example of any supposedly shocking facts she knows about microbiology or homeopathic medicine, though. In fact I haven’t heard much that’s all that interesting or unique from her.

On not needing a man to be fulfilled

“I don’t need a man to make me happy. I think you should be happy on your own and if you find someone who complements that happiness then that’s a great thing… I like a guy with a good sense of humor, have their own way of thinking, [sic] and be mature enough to communicate in a relationship.”

On using her fame “for something good”

“Eventually I’d like to start my own business and fade into the background,” she says. “I think fame is only appealing if you can use it in ways to help people. I’ve never had the desire to really want fame, and not that I have it I’m trying to use it for something good.”

Before we all scoff at Larson’s charity lip service, Hello! does say that she has “spent the last four years volunteering with AFAN (Aid for AIDS in Nevada)”

At least she knows her 15 minutes are up and says she’s ready for it. This interview with Hello! was her last hurrah and she doesn’t have delusions otherwise. She’ll pop up occasionally in LA and get her photo taken at some paparazzi hot spots. We may see her in some print ads. Either way, she’s over but she’s doing fine.

I wonder when exactly Larson showed Clooney those pictures, though. Was it before or after that motorcycle accident they were in together last September? There is no way this girl would have stuck around for so long if that didn’t happen. My sister in law had a theory that Clooney kept her around until the statute of limitations on suing him ran out, but that would have been two years and Clooney held out for less than a year.

Sarah Larson tried to stiff George Clooney’s staff behind his back?

Posted on 27 June 2008 by JoyCeleb

Everyone is still busy speculating over what went wrong between George Clooney and Sarah Larson. The two split up after a year together – absolutely beyond record length for a Clooney liaison. Before that, his longest – and I’m guessing deepest – relationship was with his pot bellied pig, Max. Mike Walker of the National Enquirer has another theory as to what might have gone wrong, and according to him, Ms. Larson got a little too big for her britches in the Clooney household.

New clue in the intriguing mystery of why George Clooney abruptly dumped ex-cocktail waitress Sarah Larson - even after generously buying her new boobs and teeth! The bust-up occurred in part because risqué photos surfaced along with rumors of her fling with an old flame - plus sordid tales of her wild past that freaked Clooney out, as reported by The Enquirer - but here’s a tasty chunk of my very own prime gossip filet, folks:

Word’s just now drifting out from the star’s inner circle that Sarah, who once depended on tips herself as a scantily clad booze-server in Vegas, suddenly started acting like the future Missus Clooney around The Man’s household, cruelly ordering cutbacks to the hefty gratuities Generous George regularly lavishes on his personal staff.

For months, Clooney had no clue about Stingy Sarah’s sly cutbacks, but when worried staffers finally asked one of his higher-ups if the boss had trimmed everyone’s tips because he was unhappy with their work, the whistle finally blew loudly in the star’s ear and he went ballistic - raging that NO ONE had the right to counterman his orders! Just days after Clooney’s shocking discovery, it was suddenly “See ya, Sarah!”

Frankly it seems pretty clear to me that whatever ended George and Sarah’s relationship, I’ll bet it was an excuse. George Clooney does not date women long, and I’m sure he knew that if he went on much longer, he’d be expected to marry Sarah. The gossip was reaching a boiling point as it was.

I’m guessing he waited for the first thing she did wrong, and then gave Sarah the boot. A Clooney relationship isn’t a traditional one where the two people are partners who work together through issues. You get to date George – and he takes pretty good care of you, buying you new body parts and such – for a few months until he loses interest.

As soon as his relationship with Sarah deviated from his tried and true format, suddenly his entire identity was probably up in the air and he started looking for a way out. I wouldn’t be surprised if the actual dumping was because of something relatively trivial, though the idea that Sarah ever had enough control to influence his staff’s paychecks seems a little unlikely to me. Either way, she set a Clooney relationship record, and she left with two lovely parting gifts.

Here are Sarah and George at the Oscars on February 24th. Images thanks to WENN.

Sarah Larson is naive

Posted on 23 June 2008 by JoyCeleb

Sarah Larson

George Clooney’s split with Sarah Larson was sudden and unexpected. Sarah thought she and George were going to marry, but George had other plans. Namely, banging a bunch of other women.

“She thought they were getting married. Instead, she got dumped,” a friend said. “She’s really upset. Devastated.”

“She’s totally heartbroken and doesn’t deserve this,” a friend said. “It came out of nowhere. They had made all these plans.”

Adding insult to injury, friends say, is this month’s issue of Harper’s Bazaar, which features Larson posed on a motorcycle, clad in Dolce & Gabbana.

The headline reads: “It Girl: Sarah Larson. Don’t hate her because she’s beautiful, fearless … and dates George Clooney.”

Hmm, marry Sarah Larson or bang a bunch of models each day of the week. This really is a tough decision. Let’s consult Captain Obvious. *Gasp* In an astonishing twist of fate, Captain Obvious says to go with the models. I am shocked. Just. Shocked.

The Bravo A-List Awards happened

Posted on 23 June 2008 by JoyCeleb

Bravo’s A-List Awards took place at the Hammerstein Ballroom Wednesday night and it sounded more like a dysfunctional family reunion than an actual awards show. The whole show was pretty much a circle jerk for D-listers.

Kathy Griffin hosted and being the “hip” and “with it” comedian that she is, told jokes about Miley Cyrus getting VD and about Mariah Carey being old. She also said some other stuff, but I’m too tired to type it so I’ll just quote Page Six. Pay close attention to the swearing. Notice how Kathy becomes 10 times more edgy when she throws those f-bombs:

“That motherfucker George Clooney ruined it for all of us,” she yelled. “He decided to donate his Oscar bag to some bullshit environmental organization and ruined it for me.”

Griffin, currently on the cover of A Bear’s Life - a magazine dedicated to macho, “furry” gays known as “bears” - admitted she watched “Living Lohan” and is obsessed with Dina and Ali Lohan.

“I wish I could have had a manager mom out at clubs fucking guys to get me roles,” Griffin cracked. “My mom’s at home drinking a box of wine.”

There’s a magazine dedicated to hairy gay guys? You’re goddamn right there is. The pinnacle of achievement for any actor or actress is to grace the cover of A Bear’s Life and Kathy Griffin has done it. She’s made it. In the venerable words of Kathy, “FUCK YEA!!” But Kathy Griffin wasn’t the only one happy, Lauren Hutton was too. If you can’t see the video of Lauren’s acceptance speech up above after receiving a lifetime achievement award, let me or rather, let Page Six, yet again, describe it. It rivaled that of Halle Berry’s Oscar meltdown.

Actress Lauren Hutton, who accepted a lifetime achievement honor, slurred that she hadn’t slept in 46 hours, rubbed her crotch with the big silver award and mumbled “sluts” on stage.

After that, one clap turned into thunderous applause. Wow. The Bravo A-List Awards sounds like the classiest show out there. It makes the Oscars look like a used up whore. With VD!

Jeremy Piven strikes out with Megan Fox

Jeremy Piven strikes out with Megan Fox
Jeremy Piven strikes out with Megan Fox

Megan Fox shot down Jeremy Piven like a Korean airliner at the Spike TV Guy’s Choice Awards* late last month after the actor tried flirting with her. The New York Daily News says:

Jeremy Piven was bent on meeting “Transformers” hottie Megan Fox in the greenroom at Spike TV’s Guy’s Choice Awards, airing on Sunday. “I don’t know you, but I should,” said Piven, staring at her like she was a lamb chop. He went on: “I know you’re getting an award.” Said an unimpressed Fox: “Do you even know which one?” The “Entourage” star was ready to answer, but she’d already walked away. (Source)

Jeremy Piven should know that Megan Fox is already spoken for by one of Hollywood’s most successful, handsome, and eligible bachelors: George Clooney Matthew McConaughey Johnny Depp Brian Austin Green. Wait, what? Nevermind, Jeremy was probably right to try. Hooking up with a balding, 5-feet-tall cable actor would have been a step up from a “made-for-TV movie” has-been.

George Clooney is good people

George Clooney is good people

So maybe George Clooney didn’t break up with Sarah Larson just because she got implants . . . The New York Post says:

George Clooney may already have found Sarah Larson’s replacement. Our source claims Clooney “has been dating a woman in her mid-30s” for months now, even before he split with Larson. The source also claims Clooney knew he was going to leave Larson months ago, and let her do interviews and some modeling to “get her a career” before the split. Larson also got some new breasts. (Source)

Charity comes in all shapes and sizes. Some volunteer at the local soup kitchen (me). Others adopt orphaned children from impoverished countries (me if you count Sweden as “impoverished”). George Clooney, he bangs models just long enough to get their careers off the ground. What a humanitarian. He’s like the Mother Teresa of dudes pulling hot ass.

Family, friends gather to mourn director Pollack

Posted on 16 June 2008 by JoyCeleb

Friends, family and show business colleagues gathered to remember late Oscar-winning director, producer and actor Sydney Pollack at a private memorial service, according to a person with knowledge of the service.

The person insisted on anonymity because the family wanted details of the service on Saturday to be kept private and the person was not authorized to release any information.

The 73-year-old director, producer and actor died of cancer on May 26 while surrounded by family at his home in Los Angeles, according to his publicist, Leslee Dart. Pollack had been diagnosed with cancer about nine months ago.

Pollack won Academy Awards for best picture and best director for the 1985 epic “Out of Africa.” In a career spanning nearly five decades, he directed over 20 films, including “The Firm,” “Havana” and “Absence of Malice.” The last film he directed was the 2006 documentary “Sketches of Frank Gehry.”

Pollack had worked with seemingly every A-list star in the business: Al Pacino, Paul Newman, Meryl Streep, Jane Fonda, Sean Penn, Nicole Kidman, Barbra Streisand and George Clooney. He collaborated with Robert Redford on seven films, including “Out of Africa,” 1973’s “The Way We Were,” 1975’s “Three Days of the Condor” and 1979’s “The Electric Horseman.”

While best known as a director, Pollack frequently stepped in front of the camera. He played the agent of Dustin Hoffman’s cross-dressing soap star in 1982’s “Tootsie,” which he also directed, and the old-school law firm boss in 2007’s “Michael Clayton,” which he also co-produced. He also appeared on “Will & Grace,” “Entourage” and “The Sopranos.”

Pollack is survived by his wife, Claire; two daughters, a brother and six grandchildren. Pollack’s son, Steven, died in a plane crash in 1993.

Sarah Larson To Appear Nude

Posted on 14 June 2008 by JoyCeleb

Sucking on George Clooney’s chode has really paid off for Sarah Larson. The retired escort hasn’t left the limelight since he packed her bags and kicked her to the curb. Yesterday the paparazzi photographed the celeb wannabe out and about in Los Angeles.

Yesterday I posted a rumor that George called it quits after Sarah started to become careless with her birth control pills in hopes of securing a lifetime of George’s money courtesy of child support.

Now there are rumors that George was also upset with the former “cocktail waitress” after she got implants. In other words, Sarah was the typical shallow Hollyweird slut he thought she’d never become. FOOL!

A source claims Sarah to be so proud of her new rack she wouldn’t mind posing for Playboy for the whole world to see. The source said, “She likes her new body so much that she would consider posing for Playboy.” Her rep denies the claim. Rumor also has it she might score a gig as a lingerie model for some company.

Sarah Larson is a cute girl, but the truth is we don’t need another non-deserving, talentless celebrity wannabe photographed doing walking around and being boring.

Bret Michaels Talks George Clooney Fear & ‘Rock Of Love’ Season 3?

Posted on 14 June 2008 by JoyCeleb

Rocker Bret Michaels has admitted he was worried when he heard George Clooney was a fan of his VH1 reality dating show, “Rock of Love.”

A few weeks ago, back when Sarah Larson and George Clooney were still dating, the lanky model revealed she and the “Michael Clayton” star enjoyed staying in and watching “Rock of Love” during their courtship.

In an interview earlier this week with “The Billy Bush Show,” Michaels said he heard the news and quaked in his boots.

“[When I heard about that] I was thinking I hope he doesn’t want to do ‘Rock of Love,’ because they will kick me to the curb so fast, there would be no season, anything for me,” Michaels said. “They will be like, ‘Bret who?’”

If you’re wondering if that means Bret’s romance with TV host Amber has fizzled, Billy made sure to ask the question: “When do you start filming season three?”

“Right now, we have nothing for season three,” Michaels said. “Amber and I still hang and we have a great time… and the only thing I could say [is] I don’t know if we will ever do an official show like what we had done before.”

But, there could be a different show on Michaels’ reality TV show horizon.

“I think that naturally it has to fall into something new,” he said.
