Jessica Alba Hones In On Her Latin Roots

Posted on 25 June 2008 by JoyCeleb

Jessica Alba, who doesn’t speak Spanish herself, has decided she wants her daughter, Honor Marie Warren, to be bilingual.

“Jessica wants to try to brush up on her language skills so that she can start speaking Spanish at home in front of Honor,” a friend of the 27-year-old tells OK!.

Having not spoken the language in years, the actress’ Spanish is little bit rusty, but she knows she needs to buckle down and re-learn it for her little girl.

“She knows that her own Spanish skills are not what they should be, and while she’s always under a lot of criticism, she is trying to make amends for that and do what’s right for her baby,” the source says.

Suddenly she’s so in touch with her Mexican roots.  How maternal of her.  Shouldn’t she have started kept up her Spanish years ago, or at least soon after she conceived?  Learning Spanish now is like putting on the condom after the transferring of DNA.  It’s too little too late.

First Photos Of Jessica Alba’s Baby Girl Honor Marie

Posted on 24 June 2008 by JoyCeleb

New baby Honor Marie’s photos are still in the market. Actually we don’t even know if Jessica Alba will sell the photos but we are excited to meet the baby. I’m sure in a couple of months we will get a picture of precious little Alba girl.

Jessica Alba emerged in LA on Saturday for the first time since giving birth, with Cash Warren and little Honor Marie by her side. Of course no glimpse of the infant just yet as Honor stayed all cozied up in her carrier while her new parents enjoyed the sunny afternoon.

Jessica looks great for someone who just give birth a couple of weeks ago. Daddy Cash Warren is proudly carrying baby Honor on their way for a pediatrician consult and they have special help from a private nurse.

Ashley Tisdale Rick Rolled everyone

Posted on 23 June 2008 by JoyCeleb

Ashley Tisdale covered a bunch of 80’s songs including Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up,” Cathy Dennis’ “Too Many Walls,” Pat Benatar’s “Shadows of the Night,” Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time,” Belinda Carlisle’s “Heaven is a Place on Earth” and Whitney Houstan’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.” What prompted her to butcher these classics you ask? Why, to promote Degree Girl antiperspirant and deodorant of course.

You know how when you’re surfing the web and you run into a link in the comments section on a rather respectable web site promising that if you click it you’ll see a young Jessica Alba sex tape where she receives a facial. And then you click it and it’s Rick Astley singing “Never Gonna Give You Up.” And then you’re filled with rage because this is the fifth time you fell for this today and you feel like punching your monitor because you slowly realize such a tape may not really exist, but you click the next link anyway because there’s still a small chance it does? Well, that’s sort of how this Ashley Tisdale cover makes me feel. Except, more punchy.

Jessica Alba wears white panties

Posted on 23 June 2008 by JoyCeleb

Jessica Alba

Here’s Jessica Alba shooting some Revlon commercial which should ultimately lead to an Oscar. Do they give Oscars for commercials? If they don’t, they really should. They can have a category like “Best Shot of a Celebrity’s Ass and Panties Through a Sheer Dress.” The name needs a little refining, but it would be a big hit. What I’m trying to say is that looking at these shots of Jessica Alba’s ass and panties makes me happy…in the pants.

Jessica Alba finally popped

Posted on 23 June 2008 by JoyCeleb

Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba gave birth to a baby girl Saturday at Cedars-Sinai. Naturally, Alba named her Honor Marie Warren.

They just moved into a $4 million Beverly Hills home with their three dogs.

“It’s a lot of stress to buy a house, have a baby and get married in six months,” she recently told USA Weekend. “It’s a lot of life-changing decisions. I’m really, really secure and happy in my relationship.”

How sad. I was born at the wrong time and the wrong place. If I was born at Cedars-Sinai on Saturday too, I could have switched myself with Honor and I would have been the one gnawing on Jessica’s nipples. That lucky duck.

Jessica Alba Press Stills For “The Love Guru”

Posted on 21 June 2008 by JoyCeleb

Here are some press stills of that whiney, untalented actress Jessica Alba for her latest crappy flick “The Love Guru” before she was “honored” to get knocked-up with Cash Warren’s seed.

Jessica Alba and Justin Timberlake in the same film?  This has box office flop written all over it.  She’ll find a way to blame it on people not taking her seriously because she’s so beautiful, instead of realizing that it’s because she sucks as an actress!

Jessica Alba’s Breasts Gave Her A Rough Time

Posted on 21 June 2008 by JoyCeleb

jessica alba breast academy awardsJessica Alba yapping about her looks once again (it’s a monthly thing for her). This time it’s about the trials and tribulations of developing breasts at an earlier age.

JESSICA Alba knows the trauma of developing a big chest at an early age - she says she was labeled a sixth-grade s!%# by her elementary school principal and a couple of “self-righteous” PTA moms. “The accusation still ricochets… They think I’m a s!%#?,” Alba recalls in “If I’d Known Then,” Ellyn Spragins’ upcoming book of essays by female celebrities. (Source)

Yah, we’ve hear this song before. It’s tough being a hottie, especially when you don’t think you’re all that hot, and you get other girls putting you down because of your looks. But seriously, stop pitying yourself. You’re rich, famous, one of the hottest girls on the planet, and your breasts are even bigger now. Enjoy them it

Many Hollywood celebrities really behind Obama

Posted on 20 June 2008 by JoyCeleb

Many Hollywood heavyweights who had supported Hillary Clinton are rallying behind Barack Obama, pledging money and star power to his U.S. presidential bid before a big fundraiser next week.

Experts say that since Clinton conceded defeat this month after a grueling Democratic nominating contest, celebrities have quickly united behind Obama.

The result, they said, could be a campaign cash windfall for the senator from Illinois, but star support doesn’t necessarily translate directly to votes.

Sherry Bebitch Jeffe, a senior scholar at the University of Southern California, said that once a politician becomes known, voters look for candidates with positions they like and with whom they can identify, regardless of celebrity backing.

In fact, stars can cause harm if a performer’s public image rubs voters the wrong way. That happened when Jane Fonda and Barbra Streisand campaigned for former Texas Gov. Ann Richards in her conservative state, and Richards lost the bid.

“Sometimes they can come back to bite the candidate,” Jeffe said.

But Los Angeles is a town where stars wield a great deal of power and have money to spend, and numerous celebrities are expected to turn out at a Tuesday fundraiser featuring the singer Seal — at a cost of $2,300 per ticket.

Director Steven Spielberg and his partner in the Dreamworks movie studio, David Geffen, and Dreamworks Animation Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Katzenberg are organizing another Obama fundraiser later this year, said Andy Spahn, a consultant to the Hollywood power trio.

“If a Hollywood celebrity puts his or her mind to it, they’re good money raisers,” Jeffe said.

ALIGNING THE STARS

Mitchell Schwartz, who was Obama’s California campaign manager through the primary election season, said Obama’s appeal in Hollywood had been limited, until now.

“I don’t think we were the Hollywood candidate — ever,” Schwartz said. “I think Hillary might have been more … she might have had more support.”

Other Obama celebrity endorsers include actors talk show host Oprah Winfrey and actors Robert De Niro, Tom Hanks, Scarlett Johansson and Halle Berry.

Billionaire Geffen upset many Hollywood power players last year when the longtime Clinton supporter broke for Obama.

Oscar winner Hanks, the star of “The Da Vinci Code,” gave money to Bill Clinton’s legal defense fund when he was president, but endorsed Obama with an online video in early May, when Hillary Clinton was still campaigning.

During the primaries, Obama had trouble attracting Hispanic voters in some states because, analysts said, some Hispanics were reluctant to vote for a black candidate.

But a pro-Obama video in Spanish with Hispanic actors Jessica Alba of “The Love Guru,” John Leguizamo of “The Happening” and comedian George Lopez, has attracted more than 250,000 viewers on the video sharing site YouTube.com.

“It helps build a broader sense of a candidate’s support,” said professor Chon Noriega, director of the University of California, Los Angeles, Chicano Studies Research Center. “But I don’t think that because George Lopez said support (a candidate) somebody’s going to say, ‘Well that’s who I’m going to vote for.”‘

Presumptive Republican candidate Sen. John McCain also has his celebrity endorsers, including actors Robert Duvall and Sylvester Stallone.

Jessica Alba and Husband Cash Warren Welcome Baby Girl

Posted on 15 June 2008 by JoyCeleb

Jessica Alba and Cash WarrenJessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren have welcomed a baby girl, her rep confirms to Joynews.

Honor Marie Warren was born Saturday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Alba’s father was overheard saying “she’s beautiful.” Warren — in a T-shirt, jeans and baseball cap — was spotted carrying food into the maternity ward Sunday.

Alba, 26, and Warren, 28, announced they were expecting last December. (See more surprise pregnancies here.)

During her pregnancy, Alba admitted, “anything could make me incredibly angry or break down crying. That’s not something I’m used to.”

Her one fear about mommyhood: Breastfeeding.

She told Extra she had a dream, and “it had to do with breastfeeding, which is the only thing I’m paranoid about. More than giving birth.”

She and Warren got engaged after announcing their baby news.

They quietly wed in the Beverly Hills courthouse’s ceremony room on May 19.

They just moved into a $4 million Beverly Hills home with their three dogs.

“It’s a lot of stress to buy a house, have a baby and get married in six months,” she recently told USA Weekend. “It’s a lot of life-changing decisions. I’m really, really secure and happy in my relationship
