Things aren’t looking so bad for Kevin Federline anymore. The former punch line to many a joke – and really anything involve the words ‘douche bag’ or ‘wifebeater’ – has actually managed to get a bit of a career going for himself, besides being a professional baby daddy. K-Fed’s musical skills are legendarily laughable, but he does have something going for him: his looks.

Before you yell at me… okay once you’re done yelling at me… in the right light - when you forget that he’s Kevin Federline – he can actually be kinda hot. I remember seeing him un-douched for the first time in Details magazine three or four years ago when he was still married to Britney, and I couldn’t believe it was the same person. He was damn hot. Then I read the accompanying interview, and all the hotness melted away. But if he does like a good model should: keeps his mouth shut and just stands there and looking pretty – he might have a good career for a little bit. And Federline’s recently received some offers.

Kevin Federline, a former struggling backup dancer, is now being offered a seven-figure endorsement job! Britney Spears’ ex-husband has been approached to be the new face of Christopher Brian Collection, In Touch can exclusively reveal.

“We feel Kevin would be a great model for the line,” Chris Stokes, a music producer who co-owns the denim brand, tells In Touch. Nothing has been set in stone regarding the modeling gig because the 30-year-old father of four is busy with other projects.

“Kevin is also working with Chris on his music and movie career,” an insider tells In Touch. After being named Father of the Year by Privé nightclub in Las Vegas on June 13, K-Fed may soon give Britney a run for her money. “He is in everyone’s good graces right now, so he feels like it’s the time for his career to shine,” the insider says.

Being a bad boy isn’t necessarily bad for one’s career, but being a joke sure is – and that’s exactly what K-Fed was. He’s right, now that everyone’s taking him a little more seriously, he should take advantage of it. Of course it’s worrisome that the same guy that’s offered him a modeling gig is also helping him make more music. That’s like offering someone a heart-healthy orange and a tub of lard to eat at the same time. The good from the former is easily canceled out by the bad of the later.

Federline has a little bit of modeling experience. He modeled for Five Star Vintage in 2006, but was dropped. I’m guessing because he wanted to focus on his rapping.

A Los Angeles court ordered a “change” in Britney Spears’s visitation arrangement with her two sons, a court rep said Tuesday after a hearing attended by the pop singer and her ex, Kevin Federline.

The new terms were not revealed, but Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini suggested that the closed-door hearing, in which Spears’s parenting coach answered questions from the court, went well for the pop star.

“There was a change in [Spears's] visitation status that was ordered,” he said. “Britney’s demeanor in court was businesslike. I think any judge is pleased to see progress being made by parties in a case.”

Another hearing was set for July 15.

Kevin Federline celebrated turning 30 by getting smeared with cake at his birthday party.

He turned up for his big bash in a dapper suit but looked distinctly unstylish when friends plastered his face with the birthday surprise.

However, K-Fed – who is going through a bitter custody battle for the children he had with Britney Spears – didn’t seem too bothered after the incident at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas.

He laughed and joked with guests, and posed for the cameras despite having creamy gunge on his face.

Even another ex, actress Shar Jackson, was invited to the party.

Britney Spears “intends to return to Louisiana,” her mom Lynne says in a declaration to the L.A. Superior Court filed Tuesday obtained by Joynews.

“Britney has spent a majority of her time over the last five years in the state of California due in part to work but primarily with respect to a custody dispute currently ongoing,” Lynne explains.

Britney’s ex Kevin Federline has primary custody of their two young children, Jayden James and Sean Preston.

At Tuesday’s hearing, the court commissioner granted Britney’s father Jamie permission to sell the singer’s six-bedroom home in Beverly Hills, CA. (Because her father is her co-conservator, the decision to sell the home required a court’s approval.)

Though she has spent most of her time in Beverly Hills, Britney has owned a home in their hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana for the past eight years.

Britney and Jamie flew to Kentwood Wednesday for the birth of Britney’s younger sister Jamie Lynn’s baby, Maddie Briann, Thursday.

A paparazzo who pressed charges against Britney Spears after her car allegedly ran over his foot was himself to blame for any injury it may have caused, prosecutors said in refusing to pursue the case.

After reviewing police records and a videotape of the incident last year, Deputy District Attorney Joseph D. Shidler wrote Friday that the “only way the victim’s foot could have been where the video indicates it to be was by the victim placing it in that location.”

The photographer, who was not identified in the report, filed a criminal complaint against Spears in early May, nearly six months after the alleged incident. A copy of the police complaint was not immediately available Monday, but it sought a felony charge of failing to stop after an accident involving an injury.

Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley’s office reviewed a videotape and photos of the incident, which don’t show the photographer being hit. The report also describes a chaotic scene surrounding Spears, with photographers on all sides of her car and “a lot of noise and confusion.”

The report describes Spears’ as “driving at an extremely slow rate of speed and in a straight path.”

The 26-year-old pop star has had her share of trouble behind the wheel, including a highly publicized incident in 2006 where she was photographed driving with her son on her lap.

A misdemeanor hit-and-run charge stemming from a 2007 parking lot crash was dismissed after she settled with the car’s owner. In October, she pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of driving without a valid license, and earlier this year was involved in a minor fender-bender on a Los Angeles freeway.

Also Monday, documents were released detailing a request from Spears’ father for payments relating to his conservatorship arrangement.

The document filed on behalf of James Spears seeks an undisclosed amount of money for helping his daughter shop for groceries, handle custody issues with her husband, Kevin Federline, and visiting her in the hospital in February and March. The filing also states that he held meetings to shore up security at Spears’ homes and occasionally cooked meals.

James Spears has temporary control of his daughter’s finances. A hearing about that conservatorship is scheduled for Tuesday morning in Los Angeles.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were both in Las Vegas Friday night, but didn’t hang out.

Federline nabbed a Father of the Year Award at club Prive, while Spears chilled with her dad Jamie and an assistant at the Cinevegas party at Palms Place.

Spears, 26, sipped just water while sitting in a poolside cabana, according to a Joynews eyewitness. She departed at 12:20 a.m. Saturday morning, after spending about an hour and a half there.

Meanwhile, across town, Federline was shocked at his Father of the Year award.

“I’m surprised,” Federline said when asked how it felt to win the title.

Federline, 30, hit up the club with a group of male pals — including divorce attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan — just before 1 a.m. Saturday morning.

Federline — also named a Power Player last year — had a quiet night at the club, chilling with friends and pumping his fist into the air when Timbaland’s “The Way I Are” was played by the DJ.

Prive presented Federline his Father of the Year trophy “someplace quiet” at the dad-of-four’s request, so clubgoers didn’t see the ceremony, according to a source.

An unscheduled hearing in the Britney Spears custody case Friday yielded no change in the arrangement between the pop star and ex-husband Kevin Federline.

The hearing was closed and all documents were ordered sealed until a hearing later this month. A court spokeswoman says no rulings were made.

Spears’ attorney declined to comment after they concluded Friday. Mark Kaplan, an attorney representing Spears’ husband, Kevin Federline, attended the hearing via speakerphone.

Neither Spears nor Federline appeared.

Last month, a court commissioner granted Spears expanded visitation with her children. Federline took control of the toddlers after several highly publicized instances of erratic behavior by the 26-year-old singer.

It’s starting to get sad people. ::Sigh:: As you  may or may not have heard Britney was four hours late to her custody hearing this morning. What is more important to this “Mother of the Year” then showing up to Court and pleading her case in front of a judge to regain custody of her children? The answer… having a total meltdown. Britney showed up to court four hours late but never really made it out of the car. In a previous JoyNews post, we mentioned that LAPD would not be escourting Ms. Spears due to her lack of cooperation in the past. Well, the paparazzi was ready to swarm the pop princess and the flashing lights was enough to send her reeling. She screamed at photographers “I’m scared. Stop it. Stop it. Let me out of the car” got back in the car and drove off. Next Britney shows up in a church in the San Fernando Valley with her paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Galib wearing… her wedding dress.

Props to you Adnan for staying with Britney. Most guys would go running for the hills if a girl showed up in her wedding dress (reference Rachel from Friends answering her door in a rented wedding dress) but not you!! You’re a class act willing to be seen in public with your new girlfriend dressed as an pyschotic jilted bride. (Oh, and btw, Adnan is married) Ok, but back to Britney… who goes to church looking like that? Sure, the dress is from Monique Lhuiller and we all love her designs (or at least I do). But Britney HAD to “custom designed” the dress to make sure it’s short enough that her butt hangs out of the it. Not to mention, Britney’s gained a little weight since her 2004 wedding to K-Fed so that doesn’t help the coochie-mama situation. What a wreck! Britney, please concentrate on getting better so you can regain the right to see your children. They’re still  young enough that they might still love you through all this insanity. K-Fed wants another reality show. Apparently he wasn’t showcased in his first one, Chaotic, enough.

The reality show will show K-Fed with his two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, and what fatherhood is like with them.

I wonder if the show will also feature his other two kids he has with actress Shar Jackson.

Anyways, Kevin has decided that due to the media frenzy surrounding him and his ex-wife, Ms. Britney Spears, he is going to postpone the taping.

Hopefully, it will be postponed indefinitely. I mean who really wants to see this gold-digger with Brit’s sons. I feel bad enough for the kids that they ended up with him. Now he wants to push more cameras in their faces. Yeah that sounds like a good dad to me.

Today, Court Commissioner, Scott M. Gordon, refused to grant Britney any visitation rights with her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

She hasn’t seen her babies in over a month now.  She is only allowed telephone contact with her boys–but come on, have you ever talked to a 2 year old and a 1 year old on the phone?  Not much can really happen when they don’t even understand what a phone is yet!

Given that lawyers on both K-Fed’s side and on Britney’s side both wanted some type of visitation to resume, you’ve gotta wonder in who’s best interest the commissioner and lawyers are acting upon?  Apparently both sides want Britney to be able to have visitation but couldn’t come to an agreement on all the details, so all custody matters have been dismissed until the next hearing scheduled for scheduled for March 10th–so, another 20 days until there’s even a possibility that she may be able to see her kids again–isn’t that enough to make any mother go insane!?!

K-Fed’s lawyers issued this statement, “Both sides want to see the day when visitation can renew and the question of working out the details of how that would be implemented will probably take some time, but hopefully not that much time, hopefully.  We are working to expedite that process, as it would be in the best interest of the boys.”  If they really thought it was that important you’d think they could’ve done something more than what they did do today–which was absolutely nothing….

The Commissioner also refused to put a gag order on the case even though Spears’ lawyers argued that the media and paparazzi are putting Spears in emotional and physical danger in their attempts to continually gain information…apparently Commissioner Gordon agreed that the aggressive access to the singer and her custody battle was a legitimate issue, but one that is not the courts responsibility…it’s up law enforcement and the press to deal with–ah, ya…like that’ll work–why do courts have the option for gag orders then???  Making he’s seeking his 15 minutes of fame?
