Jennifer Lopez performed for the first time since welcoming twins Max and Emme … at an elementary school.

The new mom, 38, sang “Let’s Get Loud” for a group of eight 10- and 11-year-olds at their graduation ceremony Tuesday, the Associated Press reports.

Students at PS 37 school for autistic children in Staten Island, New York, became obsessed with the Lopez tune after their teacher showed them the video.

They wanted to watch it every day, teacher Kathy Amati told a local paper. Eventually, they learned the lyrics and the dance moves from the video.

They wrote letters to Lopez for an autograph.

“From the minute we wrote the letters, they just automatically thought she would come,” Ms. Amati said.

A response from the singer came Tuesday: One of her reps called, wanting to know the time of the graduation ceremony because Lopez wanted to attend.

Would you keep your nanny around if you were about to launch a reality television program meant to showcase your domestic/maternal side? Doubtfully.

According to Us Weekly (via The Scoop), the nanny to Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s 3-month-old twins, Max and Emme, “abruptly left” in mid-April. The reason? The couple want to tend to their children on their own.

The real reason? If I had to go on the lyrics from her horrid 2001 single “I’m Real,” featuring Ja Rule my bet is she wouldn’t look to “real” with a nanny being the one tending to her infants.
